Kicking off New York Fashion Week, OR Movement and Tahor Group are hosting the "Desert Flower" runway show and benefit - showcasing the 2018 Women's Summer Collection from famous designer, Matan Shaked.
The Finale of the show will include a special auction of the culminating fashion piece, designed by Aviad Arik Herman, in collaboration with Naama Elsana of the Bedouin Desert Embroidery company.
The evening will begin with a cocktail reception, followed by a runway show, dessert reception, and silent auction.

Aviad Arik Herman, from Ofakim in the Negev, has designed numerous pieces for Miss Universe shows, and international ballet and dance companies. He is often recognized for the Israel Minister of Culture’s famous gown celebrating the anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem, at the Cannes festival.
Matan Shaked: At age 17, Matan became the youngest student at the Shankar School of Fashion Design, one of the top 10 most prestigious design schools in the world today. Shaked then opened his own brand at age 18 in the Negev, the Southern region of Israel. He began to specialize in couture wedding and evening dresses. He has been quoted by Israeli journalists as “the wonder boy of the fashion world.” One can find top TV celebrities and socialites from all over the country being fitted in his luxurious creations.
